WinMAGI can be configured to run in
thin, lean or fat client /
server environments. Each configuration places different needs on the hardware /
software used for the clients and servers. In addition the
business processing volume, size of the database, number of
concurrent users, remote user processing, security and client performance
needs all combine to dictate the power and storage required.

Server requirements can
range from single processors to multiple processor (up to 64) top of line servers
(PC or mini computer) running Windows 2000/2003 in one of its many configurations.
Network cabling requirements span the same range, from old technology (10 Mb) to state of
the art (1 Gb).
The options are numerous and should be made by professionals that know your business and
objectives. They will help you tailor your setup to best meet your performance,
vendor preference and pocketbook needs. If you have questions after working
with your local hardware support services, please contact MAGI.
